Susan
spends five to six months traveling the world from the Arctic
to the Amazon to the Antartic as a naturalist and expedition
leader. Listing just a few of her experiences would include:
journeys into the rainforest, exploring Amazonas, watching
polar bears north of the Arctic circle and of course penguins
and whales in Antarctica. She has led groups as diverse as
National Geographic and National Audubon Societies, National
Wildlife Federation and The Smithsonian.
For more than twenty years she has worked with teachers and
students sharing her love of the natural world to enhance
their environmental understanding. Each year she visits an
average of fifty schools with her message of environmental
caring.
